Brewers Ball
As a member of the Supportive Housing Communities (SHC) Young Professionals Board, I assisted in planning the first annual Brewers Ball, a fundraising event supporting affordable housing and supportive services for Charlotte’s unhoused neighbors.
Brewers Ball brings Charlotte’s top breweries together to serve tastings of their signature handcrafted microbrews. During the event, guests visit each station to sample the beer and learn more about each brewery and their creative methods. There were also multiple food trucks, live music, and a silent auction for attendees to enjoy.
My participation in the planning of Brewers Ball included recruiting brewers and sponsors, securing auction items, creating promotional materials, and connecting with local entertainment.
Email Outreach
I utilized multiple channels when contributing to the planning of the Brewers Ball, including email and social media. Messages included information on the event as well as SHC’s mission, emphasizing why the event is so important to the cause.

Promotional Materials
If you’ve explored my other projects (which you totally should), you’d know that craft beer is a particular passion of mine. I run an Instagram account dedicated to my beer adventures, frequently featuring breweries located in Charlotte. This platform made me particularly suited to promoting the Brewers Ball.
